Hey
sweetie, thought I would finally take a look at
this web page of yours. It's neat to see some pics
of some people I know and to hear what they are
up to. But no pics of me? :(
Oh well, hope to see you in July!

Hi
Emily! Surprise! It's "Ms. Bonjour,"
writing to you from beautiful Prairie Village,
KS. I just heard from your mom today about the
KU Info reunion on December 27. She gave me your
website address--quite enjoyable, by the way--so
I wanted to say hello. I cannot
believe that you are 28!!! Where does the time
go?
I am teaching at Shawnee Mission East now (English
only), and Tom and I live in Merriam with our two
sons. Parker is 7 now and in 2nd grade, and we
have a son named Mason who is almost 3. I can bore
you with photos if you like...
Well, I need to go finish grading my finals right
now, but I will see you on the 27th, okay?
Take care, and have a safe trip home, Jeannette

Dear
mrs. Emily Winerock,
I'm
Eric Wijnroks from Holland. I'm a Dutch historian,
especialised in Dutch-Russian history (I've got
my PhD), married, 1 kid, 44 years old. Recently
I'm doing some - though not to serious - genealogical
research about my own family backgrounds. I found
your name at the internet: searching for winerock,
because thats the English way of writing of 'Wijnroks'.
I wonder if your family is connected with my own
family. A lot of 19th century Dutchmen went abroad
and transferred their familyname. By the way, you'll
find my name at the internet as well.
Greatings
from a maybe distant relative,
Eric

Hi,
Emily,
It
was nice to meet you and Jeremy (his name is Jeremy,
right?) last night at the Jayhawker. Good luck
with the application process; it often in quite
stressful. Here is the title of that book that
I mentioned last night: it's called _Getting What
You Came For: The Smart Students Guide to Earning
a Master's or Ph.D., revised edition_ by Robert
L. Peters, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux
in 1997. It's a really good book and it will probably
answer a lot of the questions that you have, and
answer questions that you don't have, but should.
I'll
try to think about some other books that might
also be helpful for you.
Oh,
nice website. And welcome back to Lawrence.
Yours,
Matt W.

Hi
Emily,
I
guess you are back in the US and hope everything
is under control with you. I am back to work. I
was called before the end of my study leave, as
our dept is understaffed.Otherwise, its good to
be back home with my family and friends and most
of all, with Teboho-chan.
You
know, I have your sussex email addresses on a paper
in one of the boxes where I packed my books and
I haven't opened it yet. Could you please send
me your current email address and the ones for
the other flatemates if you have them.
Thank
you so much for taking out for lunch on the day
I left Brighton. It really touched my heart to
part with you guys. I couldn't stop crying when
I saw you, Yumiko and Hidemi waving on the other
side (that's facing Old Stein) that day. Anyway,
they say the world is small and I have a strong
hope that we shall all meet again one day.
Take
care.
Love
always
Liako.

Re your bibliography: the film that was done in
Santiago with the
Taller de Danzas Antiquas was prodced by the Historical
Dance Foundation with Charles Garth and Elizabeth

"So Ben" and the canaries. She had no
other connection to the film.

Greek food does NOT taste
the same in Greece, or at least not if you follow
the local British Council's advice about restaurants.
I never knew it could be like this. It was a great

Greetings from Western Carolina
University in North Carolina!
I
am a Master of Arts in English scholar conducting
thesis research in Shakespearean dance and movement.
My goal is to develop a manual which helps make
the art of courtly dance, and especially staging
Shakespeare, much more accessible to beginning
directors and performers. I wish to thank you for
the wonderful compilation of resources and access
to information that you have provided. The most
useful area for my study is the section entitled,
"A Practical Guide: The 10 Most Useful Resources
for Studying and Staging Dance in Shakespeare Plays."
Some of this section's listings were completely
new to me and thus offered great assistance in
my research. Keep up the good work; I enjoyed your
entire site. Please email me if you would like
to discuss my project or have any other references
or suggestions for me.
Sincerely,
Maria Keathley
